Medals

Standard Entries (with medals) are guaranteed to be available to purchase until 11.59pm Monday 14 July, 2025.
Standard Entries (with medals) will still be available to purchase from Tuesday 15 July, 2025 only until all medals have sold out.
If medals have sold out, the only option in the online entry system will be to select a Medal-less entry.
We understand finishers medals aren’t for everyone, so if bling is not your thing select a Medal-less Entry option.

Insurance

Event cancellation protection is included in all entry options – no extra charge to you. Enter with assurance that your entry fee is fully refundable if the event is cancelled*.
*As with all insurance cover there is fine print (full disclosure…chemical warfare, cyber attacks, radioactive contamination and a few other curly situations are not covered) but we’ve done our very best to give you protection, especially for extreme weather.

Race Number Pick-up & Late Entries

Williamson Park
– Friday 19th September, 2025. 3pm – 8pm OR
– Saturday 20th September, 2025. 7am – 10.30am

Race Number Pick Up:
Everyone who entered online may collect their race number and timing device from Williamson Park on Friday (see times above) OR at least 30 minutes prior to their race start time on Saturday. Friends/family members are able to collect on your behalf.

Late Entries: If you missed the online entry deadline you can enter in person at Williamson Park. EFTPOS is available but please note: a $5.00 late entry fee incurred on all entry transactions in addition to the entry fees shown above.

Pay An Entry Forward

Our unique Pay an Entry Forward programme is proudly supported by Coromandel’s More FM – extending the programme’s reach into the Hauraki and Coromandel regions. When you enter the Whangamatā Half Marathon, 10km or 5km you can choose to pay an entry forward to gift an entry for a local who otherwise wouldn’t be able to enter. One entry fee might be manageable but it can be a stretch to cover the whole family. Add an entry to yours, and share this event with others. Simply select the event option you would like to gift in the merchandise section of the online entry system and you’ll make someone’s day…maybe even change their life. Gifts of multiple entries can be invoiced – please connect with us here if you’d like to gift multiple entries.

Apply For A Gifted Entry

Is cost a barrier to entering for you or your family, or for your neighbour, or your friend’s neighbour? Send us an email to apply for a gifted entry to the 21km, 10km or 5km events. Thanks to Coromandel’s More FM we’ve extended the eligibility criteria to include the whole of the Hauraki & Coromandel regions. If your home address is within the Thames-Coromandel District or Hauraki District you can apply for a gifted entry. Are you looking for an event to motivate yourself?
